I'm making a few changes around here.
Whatever I was doing before wasn't quite working for me.
So last week I spent a good couple of hours brain storming, colour coding and researching for the launch of my new blogging vision. One I'm
finally happy with! This new vision encompasses everything that I am about, 4 days a week and if I find the time some more...
So I'm kicking it off with a new regular, Monday Musings. Monday's get enough attention as it is so I'm going to be keeping it simple. A little quote. A passage from my latest read. A picture. A few words. Anything to help you shake those Monday blues and kick your A into G!

Taken from 'The Importance of Job Satisfaction' by Deepak Chopra
"People do not grow old; when they cease to grow, they become old." - Emerson
...Feel and be useful. Contribute to the growth of the life you are part of. People who hear this advice often conclude that they are in the wrong profession; this may be so. But generally it is their negative attitude that has poisoned any opportunity for job satisfaction. Every job serves some useful purpose, for there is always someone who can us it for his own evolution and growth....
People who feel useful do not deteriorate or get unhealthy....
The first thing to say is that jobs at the top do tend to go to healthier people, those who are naturally able to achieve more, but I think that their positive attitudes came first and created the possibilities for promotion. Any job, routine or not, involves repetition and discipline. The person who lacks inner awareness inevitably and quickly comes to the point where the repetitiveness of his work brings on boredom and fatigue. From that all the later symptoms grow.
The person who is secure in himself finds creative solutions to routine work. He is not in the habit of noticing what is boring, tiring, or repetitive. Such people have the courage in the first place to find jobs that they like. They do not worry about financial security when their happiness is at stake. Once they do find a job that satisfies them, they keep at it without though of retirement. This is because what life has to offer them is already found at work: growth, progress, and prosperity. If you are desperate for leisure, then your work is killing you. If you cannot wait for retirement, then you are retired already, so far as happiness on the job is concerned...
