New found favie

Why, why, why?!?! is it that I am discovering all these amazing places and things just before I am about to leave London? It's so bloody annoying! Oh well all I can do is show massive gratitude to their awesomeness and hope that one day I can come back and indulgence again.

This new favourite of mine is Bill's in Wimbledon the food is totally out of this world! No seriously the food here is totally Immense! My boyfriend and I were honestly blown away by how amazing our breakfast was this morning and for once in our relationship he was the one experiencing MEGA food envy over my Veggie Breakfast. What a glorious moment for me!

What I want in on is their little mushroom and tomato spice/cooking secret? Whatever they do to them is simply delicious!

You have got to go and try Bill's out, you will not be disappointed. Trust me! And to show how much I loved it, I am going back for more tomorrow for a little farewell breakfast with one of my closest friends.

btw I'm drooling just thinking of how amazing this breakfast was!!!! So excited for tomorrow!!!!

Adults wish list!

You know you are getting old  maturing when you have things like non-stick frying pans, colourful plates and coffee makers on your wish list! Lol!

The latest on my wish list is this mean machine.......

Vitamix

Its a Vitamix Professional Series 500. Which exactly means what???
This bad boy juices whole fruits and vegetables (green juices here we come), chops nuts into nut butter, grains into flour and has the power to make this delicious frozen dessert.....

Banana & peanut butter ice cream
Two-Ingredient Banana Peanut butter ice cream

Looks a-Mazing, doesn't it?! All that from just frozen bananas and peanut butter!!!!

Now who can I convince to splash some cash on me ;o)

11 days + lots of excitment

I'm bursting with utter excitement! In exactly 11 days I will be on a plane heading back to my home country, South Africa, after living in London for over 7 years. During the course of my last week at work I've been thinking about all the aMazing things I am looking forward too and sometimes I get so excited I just want to do a little running jump kick then a little running man shuffle but then I think the city of London may think I'm a little crazy, so instead I've decided to make picture list (and some) of it all. So here goes.....

1. My wonderful crazy friends

2. My gorgeous niece + nephew

3. The Natal Midlands + its beauty

4. Sunshine!

5. My lovely mother + sister

Then there are things like rugby games, braais, creme soda, Biltong, hunters dry, Ocean Basket, Spur + lots of friendly South Africans....
The list is really never ending!

Inspire: I choose

Today I choose.....
to believe that I am abundant
to believe that I am creative
to believe that I am loved
to believe that I am talented
to believe that I am good enough
to believe that everything is happening exactly as it is supposed

By actively choosing I am overriding my ego and changing my limiting beliefs.

An idea for a Reason

i·de·a
Something, such as a thought or conception, that potentially or actually exists in the mind as a product of mental activity. A plan, scheme, or method. A notion; a fancy

Since starting B-School I've had some mad, crazy + fabulous ideas running around my head! I am loving how creative my awesome brain is getting, it's now all about putting these ideas into ACTION!
But first I've been wondering over the past week or so if there is some reasoning to the ideas that I've been having, some higher power (if you'd have me call it that) reasoning!

So far I'm putting it down to my calling to serve because I know that my ideas will ultimately help someone live a more fulfilling + inspiring + beautiful life and in turn help them to serve and so continues the cycle of love!

Do you ever get an idea and wonder if you got it for a reason?

Inspire: Frazzled times

So I've got exactly 26 days left until I embark on my new exciting adventure! Eeeeeeeekkkkk! I seriously cannot believe how fast the time has gone by and is going by, I feel like a fish flapping outrageously in a quick drying pool.

To be honest up until today I was being mega cool about everything, in control, feeling brave and not going to miss a thing about London or the people I work with..... oh how I was wrong! The weirdest things start to happen when you are about to leave a place, your relationships seem to deepen ten folds over then you start notice restaurants, shops, museum etc that you have never been to before and worst of all you wish you had done more, tried harder, been more adventurous and given more time to those around you!

Yes today was one of those days when this new adventure became a little overwhelming and started to wonder if I was making the right decision?!?

Luckily for me in times like this I have amazing friends (here + in South Africa) with amazing + wise words of wisdom (or articles) in order for me to return back to the cool, brave and in control Tweedy (that's my nick name) I was before!

Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks and discomforts.

My lovely friend, Sally, sent me this amazing article about embracing discomfort and how in order to be truly happy you have to find a task that requires constant discomfort as you push your boundaries and pursue your goals and dreams!

Moving back to South Africa is a BIG step for me, it's a discomfort that will, I believe, last for quite a while (I'm thinking 9 months plus) BUT what I do think is that it will be one of those life events that will challenge me, make me grow and really start living. So.... just thinking of this amazing opportunity for growth has settled me and put the excitement butterflies back in my stomach and from now on when I get a little frazzled I'll think of all the positive change to come!

If it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you
