Thoughtful Thursday part 1

I'm kicking off a new blogging series today called Thoughtful Thursdays as a little give back to the special people in my life. All too often I get caught up in my own life and forget about the special memories and the amazing people I have and have had in my life. Each week I'll be choosing someone different and something different to shower my love on so beware, if you're special to me you might just see something of yourself on here soon!

Part One of Thoughtful Thursday's is a massive #throwbackthursday and is dedicated to a friendship that bloomed over IT geekness and gchat. Our friendship has been one crazy roller coaster ride but I wouldn't change it for the world!
Melindi this week the George awards is so definitely yours!

Here's our friendship in songs....

Snow Patrol - You Could Be Happy
This song brings back memories of blue boxes, Sushi & George, Morph & Chas, a boy called Chris, chats on the swing in the park and that one mega funny fight we had running up and down Dawnay Road stairs. Cracks me up just thinking about it! There is still the thought that you could be happy and I would never know!

Justin Timberlake - Losing my way
Our first ever concert in London and by far my most favourite. The Black Eyed Peas, Timberland and Mr JT! Silly little girls with tears streaming down our faces and the security staff asking us to leave well after JT had sung his last song. Oh yes it also reminds me losing my oyster card... for like the gazilionth time!

Spice Girls - Every single song!
I'd give anything to find that camera again, the memories we made that night were unforgettable, pretending to be journalists from South Africa on a hunt for the nations favourite Spice Girl. WTF?! I must say our performance was pretty amazing... almost out did the fab five!

Katy Perry - I kissed A Girl
Uhhhhhh need I say more?

Alannah Myles - Black Velvet
Suburban fueled cocktail evenings!

Cher - Walking in Memphis
Who would of ever thought that you would end up doing Karaoke in the heart of chav land! Tiger, Tiger Croydon - Total Eye Opener! Innit bruv!

Kurt Darren - Kaptein
How could I not include this, c'mon there had to be a little dutchman in here somewhere otherwise it wouldn't fully sum up our friendship! This is to many drunken wind surfs... Thank you my goat!

I couldn't think of a song for the P10c evening or Wilson but I don't really think either of those need a song, those memories on their own are a handful! PS. I still need to get you back for that one ;)
