So I survived my first day as a full time Freelancer. Whoooo hoooo! I couldn’t believe that when I looked up for the first time and it was ALREADY 2pm!
It was a fantastic day filled with some new design work, a little photography, yukky admin invoicing ($$$) and a tea break with my favourite Lucky Bitch book. BUT what I loved the most about my day was that I finally had (made) the time to dust of the B-School cobwebs and say Hello to Marie again!
I’m now feeling completely pumped and ready to set some goals and share them with you a la Melyssa. Weekly Wishes is a weekly thang that Melyssa does on over at The Nectar Collective (a devine slice of the Interwebs). The weekly series is a chance for you to publicly declare your goals & challenges for the week and network with some other fine bloggers.
So here are my wishes for the week….
1. To Schedule in & do Week 1 of B-School Again – This first module is my worst enemy! I’ve done this bad boy about a gazillion times and I still ain’t getting anywhere. The worst is this is the most important module of B-School so this week I’m going to get my butt online and figure it all out. Let’s hope I’ve got some answers by this time next week.
2. Replant my dire looking succulents – I’m not very good a looking after plants, yes not even succulents! These poor guys have been sitting outside looking sorry for themselves for the last 3 plus months. It’s time for a re-potting and a repainting of their homes.
3. Stick to my Blogging Schedule – Last week I pulled out a blank calendar, wrote down all my blog posts for the next 3 months and have stuck to it ever since, ha, ha I make it sound like ages. But yeah so far it’s working. I’ve stuck to it for almost a week now and so far so good.
I’d love to hear what your wishes are for the week, leave them in the comments below.
I am horrible at keeping plants alive. I had a few succulents at home in Denver, but when I left to study abroad my mom made me throw them out. My host family has a lot of plants, luckily, and their succulent looks amazing (which is odd, considering it’s not even that hot here in Caen…). Anyways, I have faith that you will fulfill your wishes and make it happen!

Thanks Zoe, I hope so too!!!
