Wow what a great week it’s been on the blog – thank you to all those who liked, shared and commented on my posts this week it means the world to me! In the past I’ve found it extremely hard to stick to a blogging schedule but with the help of these nifty Progress Maps from Made Vibrant and the great enjoyment I’m getting from colouring in a ‘hump’ in every morning I’m finding my blogging a whole lot more enjoyable and easy to do!
Ok so onto today’s post…
I get so excited talking about branding and the importance of it – not only for your business but also your blog. Over the last year, after learning so much on the topic from Andrea Barras, I’ve completely fallen in love with it so when I came across this relatively new book by Fiona Humberstone I almost wet my pants, ok not really but close enough!
Released at the beginning of 2015 this self-published book has become a best-selling coffee table book but much to my disappointment is currently sold out in the UK – when I looked on Amazon yesterday it was selling for £999!!!
Anyway here’s a little synopsis of the book – How to style your brand: Everything you need to know to create a distinctive brand identity
The right brand identity has the power to attract, engage and compel people to do business with you. But for many entrepreneurs, creating an effective brand can be a challenge.
In this comprehensive workbook, Fiona Humberstone will walk you through the process of styling your brand. From finding your focus, creating an inspirational vision and unlocking the power of colour psychology; Fiona will help you understand the design details that will make your business irresistible. How to Style Your Brand will ensure you get your branding right, first time.
An alternative for those of you, like myself, who can’t get your hands on this gem of a book (yet) is Fiona’s handy How to Style Your Brand Planning Workbook which will help you find focus, gain clarity and form a foundation for your fabulous new brand identity.
I’ll leave you with some lovely images of the book for you to swoon over. Have a lovely weekend!
Was going to suggest going halvies on it until I say the price – wahahahahaha!
Ha, ha I know right. I’m considering purchasing it from the US Amazon store – it’s $30 on there which isn’t bad
Oh wait it’s now all sold out
